Famed saxophonist Clarence Clemons of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, had a stroke on Sunday, June 12 in his Florida home, reports Showbiz 411.
The 69-year-old, known as “Big Man,” is reportedly “seriously ill.” The site alleges that “members of the E Street Band were advised to get down to Florida as soon as possible.”
Clemons has been in poor health in recent years, suffering from spinal problems and undergoing double knee surgery. The saxophonist even performed from a wheelchair at one time.
