Celebrities love to perform on-stage and on-screen, but many of them also adore golf.
It’s not surprising to see the biggest stars show up for the latest celebrity pro-amateur tournaments around the world. They usually play impressive games and get heaps of praise from the pro golfers. Most of all, though, celebrities just have fun playing their favorite sport.
Check out these eight celebs who love to golf:
1. Bill Murray — The former “Saturday Night Live” comic, who used his talents for a successful movie career, loves golf. He was part of the U.S. team that beat the European celebrity team at the 2016 Ryder Cup celebrity match, PGA.com notes.

2. Morgan Freeman — Playing everyone from a prisoner in “The Shawshank Redemption” to God Almighty, Freeman, who enjoys his free time on the links, travels as far as Haikou, China, for celebrity pro-am events, according to Golf Channel.
3. Nicole Kidman — The Academy Award-winning actress from Australia is also a world traveler when it comes to her beloved sport, even joining Freeman for the same celebrity occasion in China.
4. Kelly Rohrbach — Before her acting career and stint as a “Sports Illustrated” swimsuit model, Rohrbach was on the women’s golf team at Georgetown. She was called one of the best celebrity golfers at a Pebble Beach pro-am in California.

5. Justin Timberlake — The singer, actor, and dancer also exhibited his golfing skills at Pebble Beach, nearly sinking a hole-in-one at a celebrity pro-am, according to Best Life. He’s a regular at the club.
6. Samuel L. Jackson — The Hollywood action hero stays busy with movies while finding plenty of time to drive, chip, and putt. Golf legend Arnold Palmer once commended Jackson for his abilities on the course.
7. Mark Wahlberg — The “Transformers” star has been a rapper and songwriter, but he also loves his game of golf. Wahlberg was successful enough to build a practice golf compound in his own backyard.
8. Alice Cooper — Golf saved this rock legend’s life, 99.5 FM The Mountain points out. Cooper, who sponsors his own golf tournament, details his love of the sport in his memoir, “Alice Cooper: Golf Monster — A Rock ‘n’ Roller’s 12 Steps to Becoming a Golf Addict.”
