The Paul Labrecque Salon & Spa in midtown Manhattan thinks they have identified the cause of unwanted neck lines and wrinkles — excess social networking. The salon’s new BlackBerry Facial promises to reduce the appearance of neck lines allegedly resulting from repeatedly looking down to text or email on a mobile device, reports the
New York Daily News.
The 45-minute exfoliation treatment includes a neck cleansing, a peel with sapphire stones, a hydrating serum, lymphatic drainage, and a 20-minute exposure to LED light and microcurrents.
Joanna Czech, the mastermind behind the $200 BlackBerry treatment, also encourages smart phone users to beware of cell phone related breakouts. “I can tell right away what side of the face people hold their cell phones on,” she explains. She recommends extra diligence to exfoliate and wash the affected side of the face.
