Dr. Ben Carson 2016: 12 Noteworthy Tweets About GOP Presidential Hopeful

Neurosurgeon and conservative “political rock star” Ben Carson is expected to announce in the next six months that he will run for president in 2016, and a November 2014 TV special was considered a “jump start” on his campaign, The Washington Times reported.

The special, “A Breath of Fresh Air: A New Prescription for America,” was made by a production company run by Armstrong Williams, who the Times called a “conservative personality.” Williams’ company also paid for the airtime to run it. The documentary/ad focused on Carson’s family life and his career.
