Wow! This "Merry Christmas Week" has been full of surprises. Don’t let fake news fool you The president of the United States, Donald J. Trump, keeps his promises.
The trickle down effect(s) of the new tax cuts will bless us all.
So on the national scene, the Trump tax cut victory makes headlines. Meanwhile in my private life, the traditional home church (BBCC) Christmas concert, special performances by grandchildren at Christmas concerts, a privately escorted tour of the Trump White House Christmas, as well as many activities with family and friends are exceptional highlights for me this year.
While Christmas is always nostalgic for me because I miss my departed loved ones, and sad memories slip into the Christmas spirit, I am always revived by remembering "Granddaddy King’s" words, "Thank God for what we have left."
If you are sad, lonely or hurting, please know that you are loved and be encouraged. God loves you! John 3:16 assures us, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, [Jesus] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Here I am in the lovely East Colonnade hallway of the White House, where I was joined by Fr. Frank Pavone and Janet Morana of Priests for Life as well as Dr. Day Gardner of the National Black Prolife Union. We were surrounded by friends and happy — and happy White House staff.
The fake news has lied again. The White House holiday decorations are stunningly beautiful.

Last week there was Rome.
This week it’s Christmas at The White House. Meanwhile I’m praying, asking God to bless your house and the White House. On a side note, kudos to Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., for his successful support and advance work for the Trump Tax bill. Senator Scott’s unwavering focus, remarkable grace and statesmanship are worth mentioning — positively. God knows Christmas (while not the only time) is the best season for love and forgiveness.
Along with my new cookbook, "GG’s Home for the Holidays Cookbook," and "KING TRUTHS," a soon to be released new King Family Legacy Book, I’ve designed a Christmas Card Meme and recorded "O HOLY NIGHT" for you with the prayer that our Lord will bless your Christmas with God’s peace, comfort and joy.
