In the flurry and furor of President Trump's ongoing swamp draining crusade, the lines of demarcation can be clearly discerned. At the core of the process is the battle for the sacredness of life and the human personality.

Everyone knows that Alveda King is a voice for life, a voice for civil rights, a voice for Jesus and for Justice. The recent stand for the appointment of Sen. Jeff Sessions as U.S. Attorney General is just part of the ongoing campaign to shift the culture.

As was stated in a previous article and also as recently as this week, we can see that Sen. Sessions has done some creditable work to desegregate schools and prosecute the KKK. It's good to see that the tired old race baiting hat didn't work when tossed into the ring this time.

There is presently a situation of polar opposites vying for the platforms of the minds of the American people.

However, the most important position for the faithful to take is one of prayer and reliance on God. Please join me in praying for America and the world.

“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Dr. Alveda C. King grew up in the civil rights movement led by her uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. She is director of African-American outreach for Priests for Life and Gospel of Life Ministries. Her family home in Birmingham, Ala., was bombed, as was her father's church office in Louisville, Ky. Alveda herself was jailed during the open housing movement. Read more reports from Dr. Alveda C.
