When Will Warren's Opponents Call Out Her Native American Claims?

Watching the last Democrat presidential debate, we now know why the Democratic National Committee did not want the Fox News Channel to host one of their presidential debates — they didn’t want their candidates to get tough and challenging questions!

The candidates got mostly soft ball questions and Senator Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., was never confronted with her “great American Indian hoax.”

The ABC/Univision moderators gave candidates a total pass on:

  • Late term abortions and infanticide.
  • Black on black crime and gun violence in Chicago and other urban areas.
  • The role of charter schools and vouchers to assist minority students trapped in under-performing inner-city schools.
  • The economy.
  • Foreign affairs.
  • Impeachment.

Although these omissions were bad enough, the real disgrace of these moderators, and those in other debates, was the failure to challenge Senator Warren on her American Indian heritage “hoax” for which she offered a public apology to Native Americans — but not to other Americans, especially racial minorities.

Not one question to Warren by any moderator on allowing her employers at Harvard Law School to list her as one of “several minority hires in 1996.”

If that were not deceiving enough, USA Today reported that, according to the Washington Post, she had ten years earlier in 1986, listed her race as "American Indian" on a registration card for the State Bar of Texas — “seemingly written and signed in Warren's handwriting.”

Elizabeth Warren not only gets a pass from the media, what is really disturbing is how the two black Democrat candidates — Kamala Harris, D-Ca., and Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J. — have not dared confront her during the debates on her using “minority” status claims for professional advancement.

After all, if she were just listed as a “white female” law professor at Harvard, would that minority slot she took be given to a real minority female?

Harris had no such hesitation during the first debate when she played civil rights crusader and challenged Vice President Joe Biden’s civil rights record for working with Southern segregationist U.S. Senators and opposing bussing. In so many words she called him a racist in a ploy to get media attention and increase her standing in the polls.

She apparently has no concerns or racial sensitivity when it comes to white female Warren passing herself off as a minority — and possibly depriving a deserving “real” minority female a job opportunity.

It’s hypocritical!

The same can be said of Senator Booker who apparently considers himself an expert on the issue of race. During the last debate, he called the president a “racist” and said that, “The question isn't who isn't a racist, it's who is and isn't doing something about racism.”

Given his failure to confront Warren on her pretending to be a minority, I assume he thinks that she was doing “something about racism.” He had the perfect opportunity in the debate when he shared the stage with her.

We know that the left-wing leaning debate moderators were careful not to ask any tough questions of any candidates — that’s today’s major media. But Booker and Harris remaining silent on Warren’s disgraceful exploitation of minority status is embarrassing and disgraceful.

Her actions made a mockery of programs designed to help real minorities and she should be called out for it.
