President Trump has said that Chicago Mayor Bradon Johnson and Governor J.B. Pritzker, D-Ill., should be in jail for failure to protect Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
He's right!
I would add former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to the list.
As for Johnson, he is doing everything he can to interfere with ICE agents as they carry out their duties. He recently signed an Executive Order creating "ICE Free Zones" which prohibit federal agents from using city property to enforce federal immigration laws.
Gov. Pritzker has repeatedly verbally attacked ICE agents and recently signed an executive order to document "unlawful attacks" and civil rights abuses by federal immigration enforcement agents in Chicago.
He's also threatened federal officers with prosecution for enforcing immigration laws.
An ICE agent has rightly criticized both Johnson and Pritzker, accusing them of shielding criminals and putting federal agents — and the public — at risk.
Pritzker has also resorted to playing the typical liberal Democrat "race card," saying that ICE is racially profiling Black and brown Chicagoans.
The last time this writer checked, most of the illegal immigrants flooding our country were not white but mostly Brown from Mexico, Central, and South America.
The question for Pritzker is, where should ICE go to find white illegal immigrants to make the arrests racially balanced?
Too often, anchors and reporters on most of the legacy media sit like mummies and fail to challenge Democrats for calling Trump supporters "Nazis" or the "Gestapo."
They do not challenge or tell them how many millions were lost in the Holocaust as discussed in this space.
In terms of credibility and integrity, this is the same pompous Pritzker who donated $20,000 to the campaign of then-Virginia Democratic Attorney General nominee Jay Jones.
Jones has been under deserved attack over text messages in which he fantasized about shooting a Republican political rival and the death of his children in their mother’s arms.
Pritzker, like all prominent Democrats, has refused to urge him to drop out of the race.
If Johnson and Pritzker spent as much time attacking the criminals ravaging Chicago's Black communities as they do ICE, maybe the slaughter would end.
It's time for them to be held accountable, and as Trump said, be prosecuted and sent to jail!
The same applies to former U.S. House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., who has also failed to ask then-candidate Jones to drop out of his race.
She shockingly said that police should arrest ICE agents if they break California law.
Her disgusting comments were quickly rightly condemned by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who told Pelosi and other California officials "to publicly abandon this apparent criminal conspiracy, to stop threatening law enforcement, and to prioritize the safety of your citizens."
All three, and other Democrats working to resist and obstruct the enforcement of our immigration laws, are reminiscent of Southern segregationist Democrats such as former Alabama Governors George Wallace and Mississippi Governor Ross Barnett, who vigorously opposed, obstructed, and attempted to nullify the implementation of federal anti-segregation law.
Title 18 of the United States Code makes it a crime to obstruct, resist, or impede federal officers in the performance of their duties.
The question is whether the Department of Justice will send a strong message and dare to prosecute Johnson, Pritzker, Pelosi, and other left-wing pro-criminal and pro-riot politicians seeking to interfere with ICE under that law.
Let's hope that they act before some deranged fanatic takes their hateful anti-ICE rhetoric and conduct to heart and kills one or more ICE agents!
