Eric Metaxas, renowned radio host and author of four New York Times bestsellers, is out with a new book warning the American Christian church of the grave dangers threatening society. Alerting both readers and the faithful of “globalist tyranny and cultural Marxism,” the book forewarns the devoted that the time to speak up is now, before it is too late. With alarming trends he says are seeping into Christianity, religion on the decline and anti-Christian forces emboldened, the book offers a sobering picture of the dangers Christians face in today’s volatile new world. Silence is surrender, he writes, exhorting Christians to defend their way of life by speaking up and advocating for their values, and providing the tools to succeed. (Nonfiction)

2. “Gone Viral: How COVID Drove the World Insane” by Justin Hart (Regnery Publishing)

The consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and much more caused chaos throughout the United States and world, and marketing consultant Justin Hart is determined to explain what went so wrong. In criticizing Big Business and Big Government that imposed draconian policies, Hart recalls the harrowing first days of lockdown, the eroding civil liberties experienced during the height of the pandemic and still endure today, and the media meltdown against anyone deemed “anti-mask.” The hysteria led to threatening overreach by those in power, which resulted in learning loss, record overdoses and increased depression for the wider population. The book explains how our response to COVID was worse than the disease itself, with the negative side effects from our response causing broader societal problems that will take years to reverse.
