The Newsmax Rising Bestsellers list will do more than stimulate your mind. These reads may challenge your beliefs, broaden your perspectives, excite your curiosities, or widen your imagination.

These books may not necessarily appear on the official New York Times list of bestsellers, but they're the ones our Newsmax audience is reading, talking about, sharing with friends, and buying.

Here are the Newsmax Rising Bestsellers for the week of April 26, 2021:

1. "The Deep Rig: How Election Fraud Cost Donald J. Trump the White House, By a Man Who did not Vote for Him" by Patrick Byrne (Deep Capture LLC)

Byrne, founder of e-tailer Worldstock, is a libertarian who did not vote for Trump and has publicly criticized him, but believes the 2020 presidential race was rigged. In this book, he discusses the alleged fraud, and how his team of "cyber-ninjas" unraveled it. The publisher says the book "takes you behind the headlines to backroom scenes that determined whether or not the fraud would be exposed in time, and paints a portrait of Washington that will leave the reader asking, 'Is this the end of our constitutional republic?'"(Nonfiction)

2. "Madam Speaker: Nancy Pelosi and the Lessons of Power" by Susan Page (Twelve)

The Washington bureau chief of USA Today chronicles Pelosi’s life and rise to power as Democratic House Speaker, the first woman in the position — and her intensive battles with President Trump. Former GOP House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who’s dubbed Pelosi "a tough, ruthless, and energetic practitioner of the acquisition and use of political power," called the book a "lesson plan for all to read" in understanding the workings of Congress. (Nonfiction)

3. "Speechless: Controlling Words, Controlling Minds" by Michael Knowles (Regnery)

The host of the Daily Wire's "The Michael Knowles Show" argues that political correctness has taken politeness and turned it into a weapon of censorship and intimidation. He says Americans are confronted daily at work, on social media and at the dinner table with a laundry list of words they're "not allowed" to say, and examines, according to the publisher "what this concerted manipulation of speech means for the future of American culture, politics, and minds." (Nonfiction)

4. "Madoff Talks: Uncovering the Untold Story Behind the Most Notorious Ponzi Scheme in History" by Jim Campbell (McGraw-Hill)

What’s being called the definitive account of the spectacular rise and fall of Bernie Madoff, the notorious Ponzi-schemer who died in prison earlier this month. Campbell scored exclusive interviews with Madoff, his wife, Ruth, and their associates; as well as his victims; and the army of lawyers and investigators involved in uncovering the treachery.

The book also chronicles the failures of Wall Street oversight that allowed Madoff’s $65 million fleecing and the reforms necessary to prevent it from happening again. (Nonfiction)

5. "The Truth About COVID-19: Exposing The Great Reset, Lockdowns, Vaccine Passports, and the New Normalby Joseph Mercola, M.D., and Ronnie Cummins (Chelsea Green Publishing)

Mercola, a family physician, and Cummins, founder and director of the Organic Consumers Association, probe evidence that Covid-19 was, indeed, lab-engineered and emerged from a negligently managed bioweapons lab in Wuhan, China; that vaccine safety and efficacy data have been widely manipulated and misrepresented; and that safe, simple, and inexpensive treatment and prevention for Covid have been censored and suppressed to create a clear path for vaccine acceptance. (Nonfiction)
