In an exclusive interview with LIGNET, former CIA Director Michael Hayden said that the situation in Syria is so serious and the likelihood of chaos after Syrian President Bashar al-Assad falls is so great that he now supports limited American involvement there, if only to prevent Sunni jihadists from seizing power and destabilizing the region.
