Macron to Address Nation Thursday after Government Ousted

French President Emmanuel Macron will address the nation Thursday evening in a televised speech, the Elysee presidential palace said on Wednesday, after French opposition lawmakers earlier brought the government down.

Macron, who just returned from Saudi Arabia, will speak to the French people in an address from 1900 GMT Thursday, his office said on Wednesday. His aides gave no details on when a new prime minister could be appointed.
