The United States should recognize how much it has to gain from its cooperation with China, a senior Chinese Communist party official said on Thursday, state broadcaster CCTV reported.
Liu Jianchao, the director of the Communist Party's international liaison department made the remarks at a forum in Beijing, saying "setting up barriers and thresholds will only end up harming both parties."
