2 Serbian Embassy Employees Abducted in Libya

BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) — Serbia's Foreign Ministry says two of its embassy employees have been abducted in Libya.

It identified the two as communication officer Sladjana Stankovic and driver Jovica Stepic. It said the two were abducted on Sunday in the town of Sabratha.

A statement said that the ministry is "doing all it can to get more information and secure the return of our citizens in a very complicated situation on the ground."

No other details were given.
