Tim Matheson will play President Ronald Reagan and Cynthia Nixon will play Nancy Reagan in the TV movie adaptation of Bill O'Reilly's book
"Killing Reagan," O'Reilly announced on his Fox News show Monday night.
"As one of the executive producers on the film I couldn't be happier with the casting," O'Reilly said, adding that the movie begins shooting later this month and that he has a small role it himself.
Viewers likely will be "surprised" to see who he is playing, O'Reilly said.
"Killing Reagan" is one of a series of best-selling books by O'Reilly, including "Killing Kennedy," "Killing Lincoln" and "Killing Jesus," about which TV adaptations have been made.
