Employees in the Environmental Protection Agency leaked a memo Tuesday emphasizing the importance of protecting sensitive information and describing a one-hour training course for agency workers on the necessity to prevent leaks, The Daily Caller reported.

The memo, leaked to Politico, stated that, "As federal government employees and federal contractors, we have a responsibility to properly protect this information from unauthorized disclosure."

President Donald Trump has regularly complained about leaks coming out of his administration during his first eight months in office, including a document from the EPA which detailed how much money the president wanted to cut from the agency's budget.

The EPA has not responded to the Daily Caller's request for comments about the leaked memo on the training courses.
