Police arrested the daughter of New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio Saturday evening during a George Floyd protest.

The New York Post reported that 25-year-old Chiara de Blasio was taken into custody in Manhattan after police said there was an unlawful assembly taking place. A source told the Post she was blocking traffic.

"That was a real hotspot, police cars were getting burned there, people were throwing and yelling, fighting with cops," the source told the Post. "There were thousands of people in that area at that time."

The younger de Blasio reportedly provided Gracie Mansion, where the city's mayor lives, as her address. She was cited with a desk appearance ticket, which is issued in lieu of a custodial arrest.
