Dec 7 (Reuters) - Former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky was arrested on Wednesday and charged with 12 new counts of sexual abuse of minors after testimony by two more accusers, Pennsylvania Attorney General Linda Kelly said.

Sandusky, 67, was charged with four counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and two counts of unlawful contact with a minor, Kelly said in a statement.

The former defensive coordinator at Penn State also faces counts of indecent assault, endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors.

The new charges stem from grand jury testimony by two young men identified as Victim 9 and Victim 10.

Sandusky was already facing 40 sexual abuse charges involving eight boys over a 15-year period. (Reporting by Ian Simpson)
