Taylor Swift surprised the Internet this week by proving that even stars get star-struck when she freaked out over a picture of Mariska Hargitay and Ellen Pompeo watching the Super Bowl together.
Swift — who named her cats Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson after Pompeo and Hargitay's roles on “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Law & Order SVU,” respectively — squealed on Twitter after seeing
Hargitay's photo on Instagram, E! Online reported.
Hargitay and Pompeo posed for the picture just for Swift as a nod to their
feline namesakes, Us Weekly reported.
In September Hargitay gave Swift a personalized collar for her cat Olivia Benson.
"When she named her cat, I had so much going on. I was out of town, and when things calmed down, I thought it warranted a real something [special]. That's so sweet and too fabulous," Hargitay told Us Weekly.
