Injured Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is now engaged, proposing to his girlfriend Madison Oberg just two days after the Eagles won the Super Bowl with backup quarterback Nick Foles.

Wentz, who tore his ACL during the Eagles’ week 14 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Dec. 10, is recovering from surgery and plans to return to the Eagles lineup next fall.

The couple went public with their relationship in November, and Oberg was pictured with Wentz after his knee surgery in December.

Wentz announced the engagement on Twitter on Tuesday.

Wentz also tweeted his congratulations to Foles after the Super Bowl win.

Twitter users wished Wentz well in his recovery and his marriage.
