Police removed a computer box with human remains from a home Thursday, where baby Elaina Steinfurth, whose mother initially reported her as a kidnapping victim three months ago, was last seen.
"We have received a box that appears to contain human remains," Lucas County Dr. James Patrick
told the Toledo Blade.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
The discovery was made at the East Toledo home of Steven King II, 23, one of two people charged in Baby Elaina's disappearance. King is the ex-boyfriend of Elaina's mother, Angela Steinfurth. She and King both faces charges of obstructing justice in the case.
King’s attorney, Pete Rost said his client was in court Thursday for a scheduled pretrial hearing. Rost declined to comment on whether his client provided authorities with any information.
“It’s pending and still in the investigative stage. I can’t comment on that,” he reportedly said.
Police received a tip to return to the property where Elaina, 19-months-old, was last seen alive.
Toledo Blade online commenters were saddened and angered by the discovery.
“This is just horrible for the Steinfurth family,” one poster wrote. “Terry goes to work to provide support for his family and leaves the children with their own mother where one would assume they would be safe. That is a parents role--to keep their children safe. Poor sweet baby Elaina--murdered by the one who gave her life.What could she have possibly done to deserve this?”
