Voters say that presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump should release his taxes before the November election, a Washington Post-ABC News poll shows.

Here are the results of the poll of 1,005 adults, conducted last Monday through Thursday:

Should Donald Trump release his tax returns?
  • Yes: 64 percent.
  • No: 31 percent.
Trump, who has estimated his wealth at $10 billion, has refused to release his taxes — despite calls from critics ranging from 2012 Republican candidate Mitt Romney to current Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton.

He has said that the Internal Revenue Service is auditing his returns and he wants to wait until the review is over before making them public — and even told "Good Morning America" on ABC earlier this month that his tax rate was "none of your business."

The Washington Post-ABC News poll, which was released Sunday, also showed strong negative feels toward both Trump and Clinton among voters.

The poll has a margin of error of 3.5 percent.
