President Donald Trump has been seeking the advice of former White House veterans, suggesting he might be mulling a West Wing shakeup, Axios reported.
At issue is the lack of order created by the chaos - albeit intentional - of a power structure composed of top adviser Stephen Bannon and chief of staff Reince Priebus, Axios reported.
Bannon is the non-establishment, disruptive force Trump wants him to be; Priebus the traditional organizer Trump needs him to be.
"We've added a little due process," a top official told Axios. "The question still is: Can we herd all the cats?"
