Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus Saturday called Democrat Hillary Clinton's losses in the Nebraska and Kansas caucuses "another setback for her embattled campaign and a sign Bernie Sanders isn’t going away.

"The fact that a self-avowed socialist continues to win states and outraise her is another indication Clinton cannot escape the fundamental flaws of her candidacy or the FBI investigation into her secretive and reckless conduct," Priebus added.

Even though Clinton won the Louisiana primary, her "inability to turn out and even win key elements of President Barack Obama's coalition are significant red flags for Democrats' hopes of holding the White House for another four years," the chairman said.

"Regardless of who emerges from their primary, Democrats will be saddled with an out-of-touch candidate destined to fail in a general election and with a message that isn’t resonating or in line with the majority of Americans," Priebus said.
