Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said he has no interest in being a member of President Donald Trump’s Cabinet, the Washington Examiner is reporting.

“I have zero interest in serving in President Trump’s Cabinet,” Graham said. “I like him. I want to help him, I want him to be successful, but I think I can do more good for the country and help President Trump more effectively by being in the Senate.

“I enjoy my job. I think I’m better at it today than I’ve ever been. I love my job.”

Graham was asked about his plans while in South Carolina.

A Twitter account, identified by the Examiner as belonging to Kevin Bishop, Graham’s communications director, shared a video of the interview.

Graham recently ripped Senate Democrats’ opposition to Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court, calling it “the most unethical scam since I’ve been in politics.”
