Eric Trump reacted to the announcement of two articles of impeachment  against his father by posting a tweet mocking the Democratic leadership on Tuesday.

“They look like such angry people,” he wrote as he included in his tweet a television screen shot of the Democratic Party leadership in the House as they read out the articles of impeachment.

In another message Eric Trump sent out on Twitter, he harshly criticized the move as an attempt to destroy the United States.

“@SpeakerPelosi and her swamp creatures are truly trying to destroy our nation,” he wrote. “Let’s distract from the greatest economy in the history of our country, lowest unemployment, millions off of food stamps, 401k’s skyrocketing... This is why Americans universally hate Washington D.C.”
