President Donald Trump, heading into his third day at the United Nations, tweeted early Wednesday that there will be "big meetings" among "interesting leaders," while promising his America First policy will "Make America Great Again."

On Wednesday, Trump's slate of meetings includes talks with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, British Prime Minister Theresa May, and with Jordan's King Abdullah II and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, reports The Hill.

The meeting with Abbas comes two days after Trump met with Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu, and after the president has said he feels optimistic about reaching a deal for peace between Israel and the Palestinians.

The meeting with May comes after the British leader has criticized him several times, including over his response to the terrorism attack on a London Underground station last week.

May also favors the Obama administration's nuclear deal with Iran, which Trump panned during his speech before the UN's General Assembly on Tuesday.

According to national security adviser H.R. McMaster, Trump also will host a working luncheon on Wednesday with other leaders to discuss helping African nations develop their economies, among other matters.
