US Ambassador to Qatar Appears to Jab Trump Over Comey

The U.S ambassador to Qatar appeared to take a shot at President Donald Trump on Twitter just after learning Trump had fired FBI Director James Comey.

Increasingly difficult to wake up overseas to news from home, knowing I will spend today explaining our democracy and institutions.

Dana Shell Smith is a holdover from the Obama administration, and Tuesday's tweet was not the first time she appeared to take aim at the current president.
