President Donald Trump did make some mistakes at his summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin but his behavior mostly did not deviate from how previous American presidents have acted around Russian leaders, former Reagan administration official Jeffrey Lord told Newsmax TV.
Lord appeared on "America Talks Live" and addressed the intense pushback from Trump's Monday press conference with Putin, during which he praised the Russian leader and did not publicly take a stand against the intelligence community's finding Russia tried to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
