Author Gordon Chang told Newsmax TV on Monday that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's announcement of $113 million for investments in Asia was "really just a pittance" — compared to other nations — but it marked a broader strategy to protect the region from China.
"That's really just a pittance, but what we're doing long-term is much better," Chang, an Asian affairs expert and columnist for The Daily Beast, told "America Talks Live."
