Sean Spicer to Newsmax TV: Media Killed the Press Briefing

The "mainstream legacy media tries to control" what Americans "see and hear," but President Donald Trump has managed to curtail that by ending the daily press briefing circus, according to former White House press secretary Sean Spicer on Newsmax TV.

"What this comes down to is the press wanting to see themselves on TV," Spicer told Thursday's "The Chris Salcedo Show." "Because they say, 'we don't like when the president does it; he does it a lot of times by the helicopter.'
