Renowned civil-rights lawyer Alan Dershowitz told Newsmax TV on Wednesday the upcoming retirement of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy will drive the court further to the right, going against the spirit of what the nation's Founding Fathers intended.

"What we're going to see now is an appointment of a very conservative person by the president and a continued polarization of the court and the court is going to be deciding cases along party lines," Dershowitz told Wednesday's "America Talks Live."
