Roger Stone is shooting down lingering reports Robert Mueller is closing in on him as the Russia investigation continues, saying they are completely false, adding he has not spoken a word with the special counsel or his investigators.
"There's no evidence to that effect whatsoever," Stone, a veteran Republican political consultant, told Newsmax TV host John Bachman on Tuesday's "Newsmax Now." "Look, I think this is an effort to reinflate the entire Russian collusion narrative because it has failed.
