One of the Democrats’ biggest shortfalls in the 2020 General Election was the party’s failure to capture more seats in the House of Representatives, which has positioned the GOP for a 2022 takeover of the House.

Democrat leadership hyped a “blue wave” that included winning the White House along with several congressional seats to expand control of the House. But failures to condem the “defund the police movement” and appeal to suburban voters left the party well short of its goal after GOP candidates successfully flipped several key seats red.
