Mainstream Media Gets Scrutiny From Within, Change Doubted

Bernie Goldberg pointed out CBS' efforts to skew news coverage more than 20 years ago. John Stossel has done similarly since leaving ABC News in 2009. Now a recent spate of industry stories from The New York Times, NBC, and especially NPR, has again shined light on what many see as legacy media's editorial bias.

Like before, some observers say, it will cause a stir, then be dismissed.
