The United States is about to cash in on the biggest natural gas boom in history, and may soon become the world's No. 1 exporter of liquefied natural gas, analysts say.
According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, America's natural gas production will average over 80 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) this year – nearly 10 percent more than the previous U.S. production record established last year at 73.6 Bcf/d.
