The odds of a war breaking out between Israel and Iran have increased significantly following reports that Iran's paramilitary Revolutionary Guard launched a new rocket that military analysts fear could ultimately be used to deliver a nuclear warhead.

State news agency IRNA reported that the Ghaem 100, Iran's first three-stage launch vehicle, will be able to place satellites weighing about 180 pounds in an orbit 300 miles above the Earth.
