Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin had his day in court – but might he be entitled to another one?

Chauvin, who was found guilty of unintentional second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter in the May 2020 death of George Floyd, is appealing his conviction to the U.S. Supreme Court after the Minnesota Supreme Court declined to hear his case this summer.
