As a caravan of refugees numbering over 7,000 draws inexorably closer to the U.S.-Mexican border, a Newsmax analysis of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) arrests over the past decade reveals that nearly 14,000 “special interest aliens” have been apprehended trying to sneak into the United States by crossing the southern border.

The administration has been generally denounced in the mainstream press for President Trump’s claim that the mass-migration caravan includes “unknown Middle Easterners.” Trump has since conceded he has “no proof of anything,” but added, “I think there’s a very good chance, honestly, that you have people in there.”
