Cord Cutting Is Killing Cable - What's Next?

The cable TV industry faces growing turbulence as subscribers continue to “cut the cord,” opting instead for less expensive “over the top” services that distribute programming via the internet.

The market-research firm emarketer.com predicts the number of cable-television households will decrease by 4 percent to 86.5 million by year’s end. And the bleeding is far from over.
