Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., says his bill that would disqualify anyone guilty of causing violence during protests from receiving coronavirus unemployment benefits would deter these “thugs to think twice about the activities they’re engaged with.”

Asked during his appearance Tuesday on Newsmax TV’s “Spicer & Co.” whether he thought taking away benefits would keep left-wing protestors off the streets Banks said he thinks it would.
