National Institutes of Health head Anthony Fauci said the government is working on a vaccine to fight the Zika virus.
"Hopefully, we'll be able to get to clinical trials within the next several months," Fauci said Sunday on
"The Cats Roundtable" on AM 970 in New York.
The NIH is "very aggressively pushing towards developing a vaccine," Fauci told host John Catsimatidis.
He said the NIH has been successful developing vaccines for similar viruses such as West Nile and Yellow Fever.
