President Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech drew 15.9 million viewers across the four major broadcast networks – a 21% drop from last year, Variety is reporting.

The numbers, based on early estimates, break down like this:

  • CBS — 4.6 million
  • NBC — 4.4 million
  • ABC  – -3.6 million
  • Fox — 3.4 million

Cable news and other network numbers will be added as they come in. But Variety noted the early numbers, so far, don’t bode well for the speech compared to previous years.
