Rep. Ted Lieu, D-Calif., blasted President Donald Trump on Wednesday, saying the president needs to “stop complaining.”
Lieu’s comments came in a Wednesday tweet.
He wrote: “Dear @realDonaldTrump: ‘Stop complaining and do your job. Congress gave you so much money that your Administration only spent 60% of it last term. Hire the judges and agents we funded. Restore aid to help countries get more stable. Streamline asylum processing.”
Lieu’s comments referred to a tweet Trump had posted earlier on Wednesday. The president wrote: “Democrats in Congress must return from their Vacations and change the Immigration Laws, or the Border, despite the great job being done by Border Patrol, will only get worse. Big sections of Wall now being built!”
