People left the U.S. Capitol in handcuffs Wednesday afternoon after gathering outside GOP senators' offices to protest the Republican Party's healthcare efforts.

It was not clear how many people were arrested, but videos from the scene showed U.S. Capitol Police placing flexcuffs on people and escorting them out.

Other Twitter users who posted videos said protesters were outside of the offices for Republican Sens. Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania and Richard Burr of North Carolina.

President Donald Trump met with Senate Republicans at the White House on Wednesday about their efforts to repeal and replace Obamacare, which have stalled in recent days.
