Donald Trump gave a Twitter shoutout Wednesday to the record sales of Jackie Evancho since it was announced the teen sensation would sing the national anthem at the president-elect's inauguration.

Trump's tweet followed a TMZ report Christmas day that Evancho's album sales have quadrupled since she signed on for the Jan. 20 performance.

Evancho, the 2010 "America's Got Talent" runner-up, has a transgender sister, and told People Magazine she has had a lot of guff thrown her way since the announcement.

"My family is kind of a big target. I have a transgender sister, and so a lot of hate goes towards us," Evancho said.

Evancho, just 16, has released 6 albums, including a platinum and gold album and three Billboard 200 top 10 debuts.
