Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., vowed to oppose any spending bill that doesn’t include funding to build President Donald Trump’s proposed wall along the southern border.
Graham’s comments came in a Friday tweet as the partial government shutdown continued due to the impasse between Trump and Democratic lawmakers over wall funding.
Graham wrote: “To (Minority Leader) Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats: No Wall Money, No Deal.”
Earlier on Friday, Trump threatened to “close the southern border entirely” if he doesn’t receive the necessary funding for the wall.
