Iran's Foreign Minister Javad Zarif on Monday responded to President Donald Trump's all-caps demand for Tehran to stop threatening America or "suffer consequences" with derision — and its own all-caps warning to "be cautious."

"Color us unimpressed," the tweet from Zarif began — in all capital letters — noting his country has heard threats before "albeit more civilized ones" and "seen fall of empires."

Trump's Twitter trash talk came after Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Sunday remarked that "America should know that peace with Iran is the mother of all peace and war with Iran is the mother of all wars," according to the state news agency IRNA.
