South Korea's President Moon Jae-in has convinced North Korean leader Kim Jong Un the Korean Demilitarized Zone is the best site to meet President Donald Trump for their historic summit, CNN reported.

CNN, citing sources, reported it was pointed out Kim's security team is already assembled, and a press center is in place — and North Korea could offer to hold some of the events on the north side of the DMZ.

In addition, Trump crossing the DMZ line into the north side — Moon did in his meeting with Kim — would offer a historic opportunity, CNN reported.
