The same day Cuba confirmed the first protester death in the mass anti-Communist demonstrations shaking the island nation, the Biden administration unequivocally warned would-be asylum seekers not even to try making the perilous 90-mile voyage to U.S. shores – an admonishment that experts say gives the appearance of playing favorites considering the White House’s lax policies at the southern border.
